Job Description
We’re looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Playtesters to join our team in Midtown Sacramento. This unique part-time role offers the flexibility to work during school hours, making it perfect for parents or individuals seeking a schedule that accommodates family life. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, fun, and user-friendliness of our games and experiences, providing crucial feedback that shapes the future of interactive entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively play and thoroughly test games and interactive experiences across various platforms.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and design flaws in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user interface, user experience, and overall enjoyment.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand testing objectives and contribute to product improvement.
- Participate in scheduled play sessions and adhere to testing protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased products and features.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for gaming and interactive entertainment.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to articulate feedback clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, mobile, console).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate digital tools for bug reporting.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to flexible scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a previous playtesting or QA role (even informal).
- Familiarity with Roblox platform and its ecosystem.
- Understanding of basic game development concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
