Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory procedures and experiments under supervision, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare reagents, media, and samples for various experimental analyses.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Document experimental data accurately and meticulously, maintaining organized lab notebooks and digital records.
  • Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing supplies.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing project discussions.
  • Continuously learn new techniques and adapt to evolving research needs.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and recording data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science).
  • Prior hands-on experience in a laboratory setting (academic or professional) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
