Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Aide to join our team in University City. This role is crucial in providing essential assistance to our patients and staff, ensuring a smooth and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to upholding the highest standards of care. This position primarily involves administrative and patient interaction tasks, and does not require heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to nurses and medical staff, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Assist patients with non-medical needs, such as wayfinding, meal distribution, and comfort measures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring supplies are readily available.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and medical professionals.
  • Respond to patient calls and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
