Job Description
Are you a student looking for a flexible way to earn money on weekends? DoorDash is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Delivery Drivers in Kansas City, Missouri. Key Responsibilities
- Pick up orders from various local restaurants and merchants promptly.
- Deliver orders to customers' doorsteps in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of orders during pickup and delivery.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using the DoorDash app.
- Communicate effectively with customers, restaurants, and DoorDash support.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with current insurance.
- Smartphone with data plan to use the DoorDash app.
- Ability to lift and carry insulated bags (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Customer-centric attitude with good communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Kansas City metropolitan area.
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles is a plus, but not required.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
