Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porters to join our dynamic culinary team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals ready to contribute to a bustling kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. We value hard work and dedication, and no prior experience is necessary – we will provide all the training you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashing machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste and recycling properly.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to the kitchen manager.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
