Job Description

Join Google’s innovative team as a Google Fleet Logistics professional, focusing on the cutting-edge intersection of autonomous technology and global logistics. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of transportation from anywhere, as this position is 100% remote. As a key member of our autonomous fleet operations, you will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and scaling the logistics infrastructure for Google’s self-driving vehicles and related technologies. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our next-generation fleet, helping to shape the future of smart logistics on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage logistics strategies for Google's autonomous vehicle fleet, ensuring seamless operations from deployment to maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate autonomous technology into existing and future logistics frameworks.
  • Optimize fleet routing, scheduling, and resource allocation using advanced analytical tools and methodologies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international safety regulations and operational standards related to autonomous vehicle deployment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and long-term vision for Google's autonomous logistics initiatives, identifying future trends and opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations, with a significant focus on technological integration.
  • Demonstrated understanding of autonomous vehicle technology, robotics, or advanced transportation systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R), with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning applications in logistics optimization or predictive maintenance.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience working within a large-scale technology company environment, especially in an innovation-focused role.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance for autonomous vehicles globally.
