Job Description
We are seeking highly detail-oriented and reliable Audio Transcribers to join our growing team. In this remote, contract-based role, you will play a crucial part in training cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence models by accurately transcribing audio data. Your work will directly contribute to improving speech recognition, natural language processing, and other AI applications. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and ensures weekly payouts for your contributions.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into text.
- Identify and accurately label different speakers within audio segments.
- Annotate non-speech elements such as background noise, music, and other relevant sounds according to specific guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to project-specific style guides, grammar rules, and formatting requirements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in all transcriptions.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure data confidentiality and security at all times.
- Provide feedback on transcription tools and guidelines to improve efficiency and quality.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening comprehension and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficient typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to focus for extended periods and work independently.
- Reliable internet connection and a personal computer with appropriate audio playback capabilities.
- Familiarity with various audio formats and transcription software (training will be provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in audio transcription, data annotation, or a related field.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts or an interest in AI development.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new guidelines and tools.
