Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Event & Festival Bartenders to join our dynamic team for upcoming events and festivals in the Baie Verte area. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love interacting with people, and are passionate about crafting exceptional drink experiences, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role involves weekend work and offers the potential for great tips, providing a fantastic chance to be part of the most exciting gatherings in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and accuracy.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly, using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service, checking IDs as required.
- Assist with set-up and tear-down of bar stations at various event locations.
- Replenish bar stock and manage inventory during busy event periods.
- Collaborate effectively with event staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Valid ProServe or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at large-scale events or music festivals.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for mixology and a creative approach to drink preparation.
