Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate IV Hydration Aide to join our Health & Wellness team in Woking. In this vital role, you will support our clinical staff in delivering exceptional IV hydration therapy services. You will be responsible for preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient setup, monitoring patient comfort during sessions, and ensuring a sterile and organised environment. This position offers stable hours within a supportive and professional setting, focusing on patient wellness and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for IV hydration therapy sessions, ensuring all supplies are readily available.
  • Assist clinical staff with patient intake, positioning, and comfort during procedures.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or discomfort during IV therapy and alert nurses or doctors as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the treatment area, including equipment sanitisation and waste disposal.
  • Manage inventory of IV hydration supplies, reordering as necessary to prevent shortages.
  • Document patient information and session details accurately in accordance with clinic protocols.
  • Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients throughout their visit.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or medical support role.
  • Certification in basic first aid or BLS.
  • Experience with inventory management in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness practices, particularly related to hydration.
