Job Description

Are you a passionate Graphic Designer with a knack for teaching and mentoring? Adobe is seeking a dynamic Online Graphic Designer to guide 16-year-old teens through the exciting process of building a professional graphic design portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape young creative minds, share your expertise, and contribute to the growth of aspiring designers. This 100% remote position requires you to develop engaging curriculum, provide constructive feedback, and inspire confidence in our young participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging online workshops and tutorials tailored for 16-year-old teens.
  • Mentor students individually and in small groups on various graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Guide students through the entire portfolio development process, from concept to final presentation.
  • Provide constructive, personalized feedback on student work to foster growth and skill improvement.
  • Curate resources and assignments that challenge and inspire young designers.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the program coordination team to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant information into the curriculum.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles (typography, color theory, layout, composition).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design projects.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
