Job Description
Are you a passionate Graphic Designer with a knack for teaching and mentoring? Adobe is seeking a dynamic Online Graphic Designer to guide 16-year-old teens through the exciting process of building a professional graphic design portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape young creative minds, share your expertise, and contribute to the growth of aspiring designers. This 100% remote position requires you to develop engaging curriculum, provide constructive feedback, and inspire confidence in our young participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging online workshops and tutorials tailored for 16-year-old teens.
- Mentor students individually and in small groups on various graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Guide students through the entire portfolio development process, from concept to final presentation.
- Provide constructive, personalized feedback on student work to foster growth and skill improvement.
- Curate resources and assignments that challenge and inspire young designers.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with the program coordination team to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant information into the curriculum.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design principles (typography, color theory, layout, composition).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young adults.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design projects.
- Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience in art education, youth mentorship, or online instruction.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles or animation.
