Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Men’s Grooming Aide to join our esteemed team at The Gentleman’s Retreat. This is an immediate start, full-time position perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality and personal care, eager to learn and grow within an upscale environment. As a Grooming Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our lounge operates smoothly and that every client receives exceptional service, contributing to a memorable and comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist barbers and aestheticians with setup and cleanup of workstations.
- Prepare grooming tools and materials, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Greet clients warmly, offer refreshments, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lounge, including reception, waiting areas, and treatment rooms.
- Manage laundry for towels and capes, ensuring a fresh supply is always available.
- Restock products and supplies in treatment areas and retail displays.
- Support the front desk with appointment management, phone inquiries, and client check-ins/check-outs during peak times.
- Learn and apply basic grooming techniques under supervision as opportunities arise.
- Contribute to a positive and professional atmosphere for both clients and colleagues.
