Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Written Conversation Annotator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and annotating chat-based conversations to improve AI models and natural language understanding. You will analyze conversational flows, identify key entities, sentiments, and intentions, and apply precise labels according to specific guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read and understand chat conversations between users and AI systems or customer service agents.
- Apply specific linguistic annotations and labels to conversational elements (e.g., intent, entity recognition, sentiment, topic).
- Follow complex, evolving guidelines meticulously to ensure high-quality data output.
- Identify and report any ambiguous or challenging cases to improve annotation guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in all annotation tasks.
- Collaborate with project managers and quality assurance teams to ensure data integrity.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets while adhering to quality standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent written comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and guidelines.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and web browsers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in data annotation, linguistic analysis, or content moderation.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or natural language processing concepts.
- Experience working with online tools for data entry or content review.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
