Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Data Processor to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and efficient high-volume data entry related to pharmacy claims, patient information, prescriptions, and other critical healthcare data. This is a crucial position that supports our commitment to operational excellence and patient care by ensuring the integrity and accessibility of essential data. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry of pharmacy-related information, including prescription details, patient demographics, and insurance data, with precision and speed.
- Verify accuracy of entered data against source documents to identify and correct errors, ensuring data integrity.
- Process and update patient and prescription records in accordance with established protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in resolving data discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams or following up on missing information.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and proprietary information.
- Generate reports and summaries of data entry activities as required.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with system updates and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in high-volume data entry or a related administrative role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of data confidentiality principles (HIPAA compliance).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and prescription processing.
