Job Description
Join Bank of America as a Bank Teller in our Escondido branch. We are seeking a customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service, process transactions accurately, and build lasting client relationships. This role offers verified stable shifts, ensuring predictability in your work schedule, and we are looking to hire immediately. As a key member of our branch team, you will be the face of Bank of America, assisting customers with their daily banking needs and identifying opportunities to introduce them to products and services that can help them achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services, making referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer, adhering to all bank policies and procedures.
- Educate customers on self-service options and digital banking solutions.
- Comply with all banking regulations, security procedures, and audit standards.
- Assist in opening and closing the branch as required.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong cash handling and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work verified stable shifts, including some Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cash handling or customer service role, preferably in a financial institution.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
- Familiarity with banking products and services.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
