Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Pharmacy Intake Coordinator in our Scottsdale medical office. The Pharmacy Intake Coordinator will be responsible for accurately processing new patient referrals, verifying insurance information, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete for prescription fulfillment. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process new patient referrals and intake forms.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Collect and update patient demographic and medical information.
  • Communicate with physicians' offices to obtain necessary prescription details and clarifications.
  • Enter prescription data into the pharmacy management system with precision.
  • Assist patients with general inquiries regarding their prescriptions and intake process.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in patient information or insurance details.
