Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Flat-Pack Furniture Assemblers to join our growing team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for individuals who are handy, organized, and enjoy working independently. You will be responsible for assembling a wide range of flat-pack furniture items at customer homes or designated sites, ensuring high-quality construction and customer satisfaction. This is a paid-per-job position with convenient weekly payments, offering flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble various types of flat-pack furniture according to manufacturer instructions.
- Travel to customer locations within the Geelong area as scheduled.
- Ensure all components are present and accounted for before assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after assembly.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly-related issues promptly.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Manage your schedule efficiently to meet appointment times and complete jobs effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with power tools and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver furniture items safely.
